Leading zero 'problem '

I don’t understand why the UTC tag has a leading zero and digital time doesn’t, or rather why - i understand that there are ways round this but still…

This isn’t documented. UTC and digital time tags behave differently, and without access to Facer’s source code there’s no way to know why.

In a very round about way im trying to say - both tags show time, so why can’t digital time tag also show a leading zero? Okay I know i can use 0#Db# for example, but that wasn’t the point.

@BIELITZ
I think it’s because the time zone is a static read out which only changes when your watch switches to a new time zone. The time itself is dynamic and is constantly changing. Or it just could be that Google is a big jerk and bully and don’t care what us users think. Unfortunately, Facer is caught in the middle and is helpless to change anything and are searching for workarounds just like we are.

I understand it, but there could be many reasons. Only Facer’s software developers know for sure, since we don’t have insight into the internals.

I think it’s almost definitely the Google option @mrantisocialguy mentioned unfortunately :grin:
