On all my facer faces the step counter is different than both tichealth and google fit. For instance, right now the facer watch faces all show i have 7111 steps. TicHealth shows I have 7152, and google fit shows I have 7103. Also, the facer watch faces seem to take a while to update. Like I finished an exercise and the step counter stayed the same for like 20 minutes. Is there some setting I need to change to get it to update more frequently?
All you can do is make sure you have granted Facer all the permissions available. The step differences are probably due to different update intervals between TicHealth, Google Fit and Facer.
Welcome to the Community @caffination. Those figures you flagged up look very good to me. I have looked at Facer Samsung and Huawie. My results differed by nearly 15%. They all use slightly different calibrations. I think it depends how they annalise your Gait. I say to people you should use the measurements comparatively day to day. These are not Scientific instruments we have on our wrists. The best way to count steps is with a Pedometer strapped to your ankle.
If you had an Apple Watch your update would be 15 minutes at best. I feel your steps updat update could be better than 20 mins. I have a little Samsung Active. The step count seems to be quite up to date. But I am not looking at it that much for steps.

I never bother with Steps sorry, but it always makes me laugh when 2 Feet suddenly musically appear on my Watch to inform me that I’ve met a Steps goal I never set
(Look guys, a little Steps Emoji that could be used in Creator as a Steps Icon )!
