I am interested to propose a Convention for the new Publications on Facer . As I see it there are two ways . Publish faces that have been checked with the Facer checklist to attempt to make them compatible with WFF / WOS6 or Import an .aab File from WFS which is Totally compatible . .aab is a method of exporting WFF files .
If something is prepared on Facer it could include WFF at the end of the title . I see some of the Partners doing this .
For files Imported to the Facer Platform I think this Idea from a Respected Maker is a Jolly good Idea .
It will be really nice going forward to find the updated Faces a bit more easily .

All they really have to do is give us a WFF Filter, rather than having to click “Skip” when it asks what kind of watch you have. I’ve been putting (WearOS 6) in the description of mine. The fact that when you click WearOS and can’t actually see any WFF faces is really bad.

In the App on your Phone you also have to select the Type of watch . It is not going to work on the web pages because you can not select an OS specific Watch .
Your best port of call is always tHe Connected Phone .
As I said select your WOS6 Watch on the Mobile App on your phone . Some are saying Skip is the option on the web Pages .
So rename it from Skip to WearOS 6 for crying out loud. When I promote my watch faces, I shouldn’t have to tell the users to click skip in order for them to see my watch faces. This is easy stuff that can be fixed a matter of minutes, but they’ve done nothing. Same with the promo media doubling every single time a face is republublished, and not being to delete said media…and on top of that, once you publish a WFF face, it can not be unpublished. All simple HTML. I have one watch face with the promo media there 16 times, and I can/'t clean it up because they can’t be deleted.
It’s maddening, and gives me little to no motivation to even use Facer. I still have high hopes, don’t get me wrong, but fix the easy stuff now, and work on the hard stuff afterwords.

@ed.ludwig When you do Promo stuff dont you publish a link rather than inviting people to Browse the whole of Facer.io. I do not understand where multiple copies of your Fsces are being Stored .
It seems to me you should take this up with Little Labs , it is beyond the scope of the Communiy . Well beyond me for sure .

Not sure where they’re being stored either, but I started out with 6 screenshots and now have 96, and never added any (I’m estimating the numbers here, I think its actually higher). They’re just copies, that can’t be deleted.

I was just going to mention that faces I have made in WFS and imported to Facer I have been naming with WFF at the end, although the ( Imported ) in grey could also be a sign it came from outside Facer.
I think that goes counter to this name scheme, but then I made it up myself and used it without calls for comment.
I’ve done this with selected faced made in Facer where I use a UTC tag. Work fine on my GW4 but on my GW8 UTC dials and such all stick at 0.

I am just making the suggestion so People can distinguish between them in a search and I saw a Partner using WFF as an Addendum . I always use Free and Inspectable in the Tags to help searches .
@ed.ludwig . You obviously subscribe to Pro . Are you saying that when you go to Update the Publication of that Face you can not remove some of the Images .
Are you on a Windows PC running Windows 11 .

This is the first time I see this! Does not sound good. I wonder if it has to do with an import. Is that what you did? I’ll see if I can re-create it when I publish something.
I would definitely raise it with Facer…

I sat clicked those X’s until they were all gone, then I published it, and they were all back 2 fold. Unfortunately this doesn’t work Russell.
Windows 10 on some PCs and Windows 11 on the others, using Chrome on all.

Nah, I already knew it was happening, but not before most of my faces got messed up with all of the extra promo media. I’ve reported it several times, no response.
The promo media no longer matches up with my updated faces. I no motivation to make updates to my faces, because I can’t update the media.

I believe that Facer has this naming situation under control. Be patient.
I have had no problem removing and updating the promo media, so I cannot comment on that.

If I have changed the design to WFF compatibility and removed elements that no longer apply I had to change the promos. The designs are not imported. They were created at Facer. It may be different for the imported ones.
