Nice to see the new editor is up, and great that Wear OS 6 and WFF support are finally here!
I did notice the web app has gotten pretty heavy though. On my iPad Pros (using Safari), it’s become almost unusable, saving rarely works and everything’s super slow.
Might just be some launch hiccups, but it could be a real issue for people who work mainly on tablets. It’s running better on PC, luckily.
Im using samsung tab ultra 8 and not had any issues yet, but wff is a collaboration with samsung and google. Have you tried using chrome browser on ipad? I use chrome on my tablet.
Thanks! Facer Creator currntly doesn’t function good in Chrome on iPadOS. I’ve tested various browsers, but only Safari runs it with some stability, though performance is limited. This is likely due to Apple’s enforced 1GB RAM cap per Safari tab, which restricts memory-intensive web applications. Hopefully, upcoming Facer Creator updates will optimize memory usage.
I am wishing WFS gets browser based extension as this seems to be the best option for creating os6 wear faces without compatbility issues. Depending on how much you develop watch faces it might be worth checking out a used samsung tablet ultra s8 or S9. Cheaper than an iPad but still quite an outlay if you only doing this for fun. I am locked into Samsung ecosystem.
Thanks, love my iPad Pro, but love my iPad mini even more, when i’am on the go. So lightweight and small… I was for my work always an Apple user, but at home cpm (long ago) and dos/windows. But I’am interested in android based tablets, will look into it…
