It’s been a few months since I last created a watch face and sent it to my watch from Facer. Watch is a Galaxy 6 Classic and phone is an S24U. Previously I had no trouble transferring faces I created from Facer to the watch but now it doesn’t work. Has something changed in the process recently? Facer app on the phone, the companion app and Wear are up to date.
I think I read that there is a problem with one of the core templates used to create new faces. Do you have a problem with your previous watch faces or a new face using a blank or digital template?
This is an old face that I changed one element in. Nothing fancy in the face, just basic stuff.
I appreciate the help.
Try sending it to watch from phone, from Facer app on the phone.
After that sending from comp starts working again.
Don’t know why.
Will that work if any face is synced from phone app?
Just thinking of the scenario where you want to test an unpublished face. It does not appear in your phone app watchbox until you have synced it once from designer.
If it was just to start it working again, then you could try to sync just any face you get trough the Facer app, does not need to be yours.
@gregrothschild0 . I see no faces in your profile . Published or Favourites . You must have some because you have a good few Followers . Try sync one of the templates in Creator to your watch . If you are not a Maker I apologise . But you should have 3 in your Favourites Folder . Have you changed you changed watch or phone ? Looks to me you are not logged in to your Previous account .
I have a whole bunch of designs that aren’t published anymore- so yes that’s me. The one I was trying to transfer yesterday was published but when I couldn’t get it to my watch I deleted it.
I have never had one of my faces on a phone so I guess that’s the next step- figuring out how to do that. I haven’t used the phone app for anything other than the link between my pc and the watch. But first I’ll try your suggestion @petruuccios. Thanks for all the help everyone.
Ok transferring from the watchbox part of the app worked. Now I see that’s how they’re generating income with all the ads packed in there
Pay £5 to kill the adds for life .
yes, what Russell said.
