Some time ago (in Inter-web speak), I created some standard tick marks in vector graphics - and then exported them in light-grey to .png format. I have used them extensively, and made minor improvements (including separating sub-elements).
Then recently, I had an ongoing discussion on rotation for weekdays and calendar … Math for Math for moving stacked objects
