I see ED trapped your error for you . You need to put an image in as a background for AOD / DIM if you don’t want it black . Switch on DIM / ADO mod then switch on the elements you want to show . Forget seconds they do not operate in AOD . As with Sequences and Gyro stuff .

It means, when the watch turns on the “always on display” or “dim mode”, there is a black display, nothing visible.
I would make a duplicate of the main elements that you want to show when the watch goes dim, make those lighter and switch them visible with the eye icon in dim mode (and the main ones set invisible in dim mode)
