working compass under the watch hands. Not sure what to think of this one. I like it and then I don’t.
. Opinions?
I did something similar and found the hands to be disturbing.
So what I did was to only show the compass upon wake, and show the hands in DIM mode:
Yours is the one I got the idea from!!
I can see the intermittent appeal depending on hand location.
What about the compass as a cambered bezel? Might go better with the main face finish. Love the numerals.
What about using some more subtle pointer, something like this for example.
yea, been trying to find one I like and decent enough
I would if I can find one decent enough
I uploaded a few things in the resource section.
Maybe you find something you like…
I like the whole layout, not the background though, just doesn’t look right to me sorry
I have a similar project in the works.
I’m liking this one much better. But I can’t seem to get the compass ring to work right. The compass hand work just fine. But I was trying the same code for the hand on the ring and it seems to throw it way off
(-(#CMP#)) . I think . Try it anyways .
.
Also. When testing, don’t be sitting next to a big box of neodymium magnets. That one got me. Also (cheers @russellcresser), if you are sitting still at a desk designing, wave your arm about in a figure of 8, like the phone compass calibration tells you to sometimes, before testing.
Calibrating a compass on a busy high street often raises some Eyebrows .
Put white gloves on and pretend to direct traffic.
Well, I completely redid the face and now the compass doesn’t seem to be accurate compared to the compass on my phone
I synced that face . I can not Inspect it as I am on my Mobile . You only use MINUS CMP to rotate the Dial .
