How do I add another watch to my newly created collection?
Well, I figured it out. Its a bug. If I create the Collection with a Creator made watch face, the collection shows up in the drop down. If I use a WFF imported face, then the collection does not appear in the drop down. On top of that, once the Creator made face is removed from the collection, the collection again, no longer appears in the drop down, and there’s no way to fix it, other than delete the collection and start the process all over again.
Thanks to all who tried to help me…(sarcasm LOL)
I’m not sure what that means. How long ago did you submit your ticket?
Only an hour before I figured it out. I was just teasing the community.
It’s still an issue, the work around works, but once I remove that legacy face from the collection, that collection can never be added to again.
I found a work around for this. Using ADB AppControl - Official website. Free download on my PC, I can harvest the APK for any Facer set watch face, and then said APK can be side loaded and installed permanently (can still be deleted like any other watch face, but it doesn’t disappear from the watch when changing faces) on my watch, and then also retains or complication customizations. Even Facer Creator created faces show up as APK files on the watch.
It’s actually kind of disturbing that people can grab the APKs and freely share and distribute them.
That’s genuinely worrying to read, especially for those of us who invest serious time and creativity into our designs.
The fact that faces can be harvested, shared, and permanently sideloaded so easily doesn’t just affect one creator, it affects everyone trying to build something sustainable on this platform. Not happy about this.
I just realized I replied to the wrong post. This is in regards to only being able to have one watch face on the watch at a time, and having to re customize the complications every time the face is changed.
I’m gonna post it in the right place.
