Orca in a loop and slow and not so butterfly-like

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my animation, I have 14 pictures like an orca jumping water through the wet squirts and dives back into the water, now the question … does anyone have an idea, because it’s too fast and stuff like that jerky…Ps: sorry for my english.

There: still the script for the 14 pictures,

$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(0*0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((0+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(1
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((1+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(2
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((2+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(3
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((3+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(4
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((4+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(5
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((5+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(6
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((6+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(7
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((7+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(8
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((8+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(9
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((9+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(10
0.0714)&&(#Dsm#-#Ds#)<=((10+1)0.0714)?100:0$
$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(11

$(#Dsm#-#Ds#)>(12

Hi I have had a look at your anim and as far as i can tell it really needs a few frames more however i have just put a sequence together for you if you wish to use any of it your welcome and if there is anything you dont understand i am here ok.

Hello dazstacey, thanks for your quick response and how do I have to understand a few more frames? like the water where it moves or the orca. By the way, cool designs

The orca anim could do with a few extra frames to smooth it out

i have another project in progress including the orca there i have 20 images and the same problem just too fast and so jerky move

maybe still not enough pictures or I make a mistake somewhere?

Hi cijbou

Here you have 3 tutorials explaining in detail how to do animations and the logic behind them.

The reason its jerky is probably because you need more images (frames).
The whale jumping out/in the water should be 10 frames, not 3 or 4

Hello joedoughty, Thank you for your answer and I have already thought about that, but in the sequence so only 25 pictures I think purely and with the link, I have already looked up … maybe something overlooked something or so but again thank you for your feedback. greeting

Well done its looking much better if you check out my version again i have CGI added a couple of extra frames to the animation to smooth it out a bit but overall your doing well.
