Is there a way to prevent the watch entering in dim mode ? As some watch faces turn completely black and only keep the text, the whole beauty is lost. Thanks
There are two factors in this. The first is the design of the face. If the designer has chosen to limit the elements on the Dim side then the image will lose some of its luster. The other is a function of the watch’s settings. Most default settings have a 5 second wake period. I downloaded this app to be able to set this to different times.
It has been one of the very few apps I’ve been willing to pay for. Usually I set it to 10 seconds.
One consideration that designers and wearers alike need to consider is battery life. Colorful, bright, and dynamic face designs will drain your watch battery faster than light and efficient designs.
