Profile cover size

Any one know the size of the profile cover (in pixels), I searched for help but cant find any info regarding that.

I’m using 1000x573 and just centering the writing in the middle vertically.

My picture is 1973x659 which worked for me. But the the PNG ended being 1.9MB which was too large. I saved it as JPG ending up 408KB. That worked.

Thanks for all the help. I settled for 1197x605 which is suitable for desktop and mobile view.
