Question about Facer review time for watchfaces

Hello everyone,

I recently joined as a Facer Partner and have submitted a few watchfaces for review. However, it seems to be taking quite a bit of time compared to Google — their reviews usually take about 2–3 days, sometimes up to 4–5.

For those who have more experience, could you please share how long your watchface reviews usually take? It would really help to know what to expect while waiting.

Also, I’ve contacted the Facer support team twice but haven’t received a reply yet. I completely understand they must be very busy, but I just wanted to check if this is normal.

Thank you so much for any insights or advice you can share!

from Isac.

Same here… I also raised a tricket.
@mdswatchfaces raised this back in July too and was heard, so @Facer_Official we would appreciate some feedback.

Thanks.

FYI: My watch face got published now.

Did you guys submit your 6 watchfaces as requested through the given steps in the email? or through the Facer Creator Studio?

I recently joined as a partner; therefore, I decided to follow the step-by-step instructions given via email and am currently still waiting for it to be published.

I followed all the steps in the email, including the monetization stage, and imported the watch faces using WFF.
Out of the six watch faces, five have now been published, while one is still under review.

From this experience, it seems that the review process takes about a week from submission to publication.

Please send your question to Support. Submit a request – How can we help? In the meantime, if I can help please send me a DM.

I received the same email. I uploaded two initial faces according to the official guidelines and will wait for the feedback before continuing, so I can fully align with the required procedure. I want to make sure everything matches Facer’s expectations, and once I have the confirmed flow, I’ll continue efficiently from there.

Between two and ten days. Sometimes there’s a backlog; there’s not really anything you can do besides chill and work on the next one

Just my opinion… Been reading all the comments lately and now I have a question, and I’m not a partner by any means, but why is there a wait time for partners to get there watch faces published and us “Free/Premium” users don’t have to wait? Something else that doesn’t make any sense.

If I were a betting man, it would be because they want to scrutinize the quality of Partners’ Watch Faces, because they are monetized.

Hi Isac! Please send our team a ticket at: https://help.facer.io/hc/en-us/requests/new

Once you’ve done that, let us know your ticket number so we can try to help expedite the wait time for you.

free faces don’t go through a QA review. All premium faces do. as Ed said, to be sure they are not broken out of the box

Sorry, but I have all my “Premium” Faces went right through without waiting. Not sure where you’re getting your info from.

I think he means “paid premium” not just premium.

It turns out I do  I guess I stand corrected. I just assumed it was all premium faces. It does make sense though, I doubt they would have the manpower to QA every premium face beyond the partner faces. But since only partner faces can be bought individually the QA is more of an issue there.
