Questions About FaceRepo Using Faces From Here

It appears that Face backgrounds/Faces I’ve created for Facer are mirrored on FaceRepo. What are the pros and cons of this?
I see that my designs can have as many FaceRepo downloads as 3 times the number that show up on Facer in my collection. Why is that number not credited to us here? Does this happen to the Premium Designers as well? Should I request that my work be removed from FaceRepo?

Just doing a quick check, the syncs don’t seem to match. One thing I note is that none of my paid designs show up on their site.

[/quote] Exactly. The syncs don’t match. I have not checked my over 200 creations, but on what I checked there are more downloads over there. Obviously, I don’t understand the whole arrangement. It sends traffic here, but it would be nice for us to get credit. Those of us who provide (original) free designs have invested many hours in them.

Hey guys! The Facerepo and Facer systems are completely independent. Not entirely sure what their counter is, but I imagine it’s the number of clicks from their website. Any actual sync to a smartwatch would be counted as a sync on Facer, regardless of where the face was originally discovered by the user.

Thanks for the info. In that case, their “Downloads” is not actual syncs. I’m not sure why anyone would download a face unless they were going to edit it in some way, and post it as their own design by simply sticking hands on it. That would make me furious! Guess I’d better keep an eye on those.
