I am looking for something rather wild and silly.
My son turns 13 on July 22, and we’re getting him his first real smart watch (Samsung Galaxy 5). His father thinks it would be hilarious to set it up with the most gawdy, busy, wild looking watch face possible. So, my challenge to those interested is creating such an atrocity. Show me what you got! As contests go, I would happily Venmo the winner $50! - I don’t have any other platform so that’d have to be how payment is sent.
The rules:
He’s a kid, so keep it clean. He will not be getting a premium Facer account, but I will set a basic/free one up for him prior to the reveal. He will want to be able to tell time and know his steps…he often brags how many more he puts in than me…he also has a weird obsession with the temperature outside and will often check the weather multiple times a day (he hangs out with his grandpa a lot). His favorite color is CYAN, he loves sports - particularly the Seattle football and baseball teams, but also plays football, baseball, and as a goalie in soccer. His nickname is “giggles” as he loves to giggle as he runs kids down on the field. His favorite number is 24. He also enjoys major sporting games on his console such as Madden, MLB the Show, and FIFA. I’m not asking for any specific logos and such that would get it banned…just as interests of his. His initials are same as mine “J.C.” First name John…hopefully that gets you started, but certainly don’t hold back on your creation.
All entries should be posted in this thread if you are interested. The busier, crazier, gawd-ier (?) the better. I’ll choose a winner on the evening of July 21st as I download it to his watch and do a big reveal for him on his big day (the 22nd). I’ll let him view all submissions afterwards and pick his favorite as well of course (no way I could know what really captures his fancy). I’ll post one of my own as well - not to worry, I won’t be eligible to ‘win’.
