Rim base 1 drawing

Since I deal with tuning professionally and privately, rims are always an issue in my life.
Therefore, I have now drawn a three-piece rim as a base file.

I can now edit this rim again and again with different designs.
The screws are of course every minute.
Each element is designed in such a way that brightness and color can be adjusted very quickly.

The simple hands are now for viewing.
Depending on the design, suitable ones are made.

what ideas do you have there?

I always kind of liked the BMX skyway rims, and the 1978 Porsche Carrera rims (black inside star). Both rims are 5-spoke…

the one andy only Porsche classic rim :+1:
very nice difficult due to the special curves

cool wheel
the thin spokes are also suitable for more spokes

I know not everyone likes this…
For me, the attraction was to see if I could draw it like that.

reinterpretations of designer rims from the 70s
Such designs could be seen on the prototypes of Italian noble brands.

I’m always amazed at the colors that are possible.

Not only rims are possible with the base

last work in corel is finished.
I make a few more subtleties in “Photoshop”
(I use Photoimpact from Corel. But not everyone knows that…)

I went for a silver rim and a matte gray inside.
The gray goes well with the shape of a fighter jet tail.
The display is very eye-catching this time.

Or is it matt white?
I dont know…

I think matte white looks nice.

I would move the date number a bit to the right, or make it a tiny bit smaller, it looks a little close to the edge on the bottom left, because of the shade of the “rounded” edge of the wing

Great work

I got an idea for 2nd version:

  • WING - first plan - rotating as the second’s hand
  • Digital time second plan - bold and bigger font to make time redable (because of rotating wing)
  • Third plan - slowly rotating propeller (counter clockwise)
  • fourth plan - oryginal background

please forgive me these tips but … this design looks really phenomenal - this is the vision I saw

I thought about the rotating wing for a long time.
My inner “monk” has a little problem.
Every second the light and shadow on the wing changes.
I either ignore that and it looks fake most of the time…
or I make the light so that it works halfway.
But then the depth effect is missing.

I like black, but I found the digital display too boring without a background.

I am currently working on the orange wheel.

There will be many more designs to come based on the first picture.

Yeah, you are totally right
Then waiting for next project, maby that propeller will apear

I will not forget him
