I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and recently upgraded to the S26 Ultra. No issues that I noticed right away, but eventually noticed that one Facer watch faces, when I’d tap on the temperature, it wanted to open the Pixel Watch app. The watch faces show the correct temp and weather conditions, so I’m not sure why the faces want to open Pixel Weather. I uninstalled it but that didn’t work. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the watch and phone apps.
Also, when tapping on the steps, the watch wants to open Google Fit instead of Samsung Health. The Samsung faces have no issues.
Those Tap Areas should be Customisable . Tap and hold the Display and swipe to the customisation Page . The best thing to do is contact the Maker in comments . A link to the face could help us analyse the issue .
Yeah I know a lot of the faces are customizable but with this particular face, only the number colors are customizable. I was chatting with the Maker in the watch comments a bit too prior to posting here and googling and asking Claude and Gemini Here’s a link to the face.
This face has taps for date (top), weather (left), steps (bottom), and alarms (right). When tapping on the date and alarm, those calendar and alarms apps open without any issues. It seems to be just weather and fitness. And I have this issue with other faces too, just not with the Samsung faces.
This is an issue which only @Facer_Official can fix. The app launchers currently only open google apps on samsung watches instead of the samsung native apps.
Okay, thanks! I was wondering if this was the case and Gemini and Claude pointed to this being something only Facer could fix. I just figured I’d post here in case someone found a workaround. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
