Samsung Watch Face Studio?

I just reviewed a bunch of postings in the Samsun Watch face Studio site. Good grief! I don’t see how anyone could tolerate dealing with that software or the system Samsung/Google has set up to support (?) it. It is amazing to me that legit companies like Samsung & Google could make such a mess of things. I remember when Google’s motto used to be “First do no evil.” Seems like those days are long gone.

Never the less has WFS some features that are not available in Facer

Curved Text . Round end Progress , Decent Gyro . Grouping in IDE . Free Complications . But we have no Tag for moving Something smoothly across the Display . No Variable Tap . However we have been promised Weather Tags in the next Update .
Each platform has its plus and Minus . In some way the best thing is all the Files are on your PC and the IDE is Downloaded .

For the extras that come with WFS, I’d still take Facer! Facer is the best. Too many tags we take for granted in Facer are not there in WFS. But like anything, the more you use it, you will get used to it… but not the missing TAGS!
There’s always room for Facer to improve their Creator, but they have more important matters, like staying alive in OS Wear 5 and beyond.
WFS also has this knack to tell you off if the brightness of your watch face exceeds 15% in AOD mode - its too restrictive in its current form.
Still missing Facer on my GW Ultra… I am waiting for some wizz to release some instructions on reddit to allow the companion app to be activated on the watch. I believe I have it installed on my GW Ultra… but its just not showing as a selectable watch face.

It’s not a matter of whether one can tolerate it or not as at this point, if you actually want a chance to sell your faces without waiting for the chance at the “golden ticket” which probably will never come, WFS/Google Play is the only game in town. Facer Creator is so much easier to work with though.
