Save error message

Hello. I checked the database, in case, there was some solution for my experience.

So, i describe this experience. I use a lot sequences to import BLENDER-images, which have the same size, determined by Blender resolution and so on. I have a series of 96 images, equal size.

So i have to create 4 sequences, each containing 24 equal size images.

The problem of saving, starts with the last sequence. With the desired 96 images in 4 sequences, i get that message, i starting to dislike a lot.

I checked it two times. I checked the size of these images.

So i thought, let us try another approach. Let me copy the third sequence, so i have doubled this sequence and i have 96 images. It saves with a smile! The i thought, let’s copy the same sequence, 3 times. No sweat. SAVED.

Then i thought, what if i delete again the copied sequences, except one, and add there

  • again - the ones i need, the last 24.

SAVE ERROR.

I tried eliminating one by one and check if it saved.

SAVE ERROR

Till i deleted the 4 sequence in total, then it saved.

Does anyone has an explanation for this, for me illogical behavior. Remember, the size of each image is the same. I hate by the way NOTHING SAYING ERROR MESSAGES. Is there some troubleshooter, documentation or are my expectations simply to high… I judge software especially on this evaluation criteria. It is often the part of the software, where few make an effort…

Or better, i would like to know - as probably each other facemaker - what are exactly the terms, on which the system - i expect Facer - says, this i cannot save. That should be, an easy question, not?

Here are two links,

  • the one that has only 3 sequences, the normal version

Thanks everybody, for helping me out in advance.

I have not gone down that avenue with multiple sequences. I have encountered an error message when uploading an animated gif in a sequence with more than 25 image.

The other one, save error, I had to delete the sequence and start over, could not correct it in any way. No clue what went wrong…

But agree, I like error messages that actually tell you whats wrong…

I have used more than 4 gifs many times, had no problem with saving.

I can only assume something is wrong with the fourth sequence. Format? Size?

Hi. Well they all have the same size and format. In Blender I make my animation where I define resolution and amount of frames. When rendering I choose always PNG format, so it produces for example 96 images of same size and format. It remains a mystery…
