Seconds not updating in DIM mode

I am using digital time field with seconds style.
Seconds work fine in Active Mode, but in DIM mode they also work fine in designer, but they don’t change on the actual smartwatch. I am using Fossil Carlyle style.
Is this a bug or fixable defect?

You did it correctly, but smartwatches dont update the seconds in AOD/DIM modes. It will update the time every minute however.

OEM watch faces do update the seconds sweep hands (and seconds count) on DIM/Ambient mode - FACER (and I presume other 3rd party face creators) do not.

Maybe one day…
