Sensors not reading AGAIN!

So tired of the sensors (HR & Steps) on my watch not working at times, at the moment it’s the HR not working, most of the time it’s both the HR & Steps that don’t work. One minute they are working just fine and the next they don’t. I switch to a NONE facer watch face and they work, go back to a Facer face and still nothing, permissions are set correctly and still nothing, reinstall the plugin on the watch, and still nothing, reboot the watch and still nothing. This is really getting ridiculous!!!

Correction, both HR that is reading “0” and the steps that is stuck on “26”. I think this is the most annoying thing about Facer.

Are you sure it’s Facer? My watch does that if I do not allow the watch brand to have access to all my “vital signs” in addition to Facer and Google. If the watch brand doesn’t like that, I go without.

The watch is fine, I can use a face from Google for my GW5Pro and the HR/Steps work. Like I said, everything on my watch/phone are set properly. This why I think it’s Facer. They probably keep messing with things (Phone App / Facer IO editor) and maybe that’s why sometimes the HR/Steps stop working. IDK, but it gets annoying.

Does anyone else with the GW5Pro Heart rate stop working? It’s been 2 days now and still not working.

I once had an issue where the heart rate was not updating, nor the steps. In addition VAR_1 no longer worked, very odd. I had to reinstall the watch completely to solve it.

what do you mean reinstall the watch? Resetting the watch?

Yes, reset - that is what I meant.

ok but the heart rate works using the app in the watch, or using a face from Google, just using a Facer face

yes correct, it just did not in Facer - for what ever reason…

I have the exact same problem with my OnePlus Watch 2 and the Facer watchfaces: No heart rate on any Facer watch face.
I don’t use Facer watch faces often because of that reason.

I used to have a similar issue with my Fossil and rebooting did not help but ir would resolve within a day or so.
I have had Facer freeze now and then on my GW6 but only for less than a minute and rarely, except after quiting an assistant timer which always freezes the Active/AOD transition for 30-60 seconds but not tried a non Facer face to test there.
Steps and battery can take quite a while to update but I have my update stats settings to minimal so kind of expect that.

I resolved the issue btw. I just did a factory rest on the watch, so far so good. :crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers:
