Sequences, Sequences, and how to enhance their functionality

Aaaand, it’s-a me again :slight_smile:

Got this “old” design I wanted to follow up with. Please ignore the non-fitting fonts, the sloppy image knockout work and such.

I’d like to add a few animations. Between 10 and 11 o’clock position there’s a toggle that starts a little supernova animation. But it’s not very convenient to have to tap around on the watch face.

Is there a way to start “sequences” using other triggers? Like points in time and such?

If there’s a workaround - would you point me in the right direction? I’d like more random action on this watch face … falling stars, the “Enterprise” ot the “Nostromo” cruising over the horizon, maybe a little space battle lol

Sorry if this is a bit lazy - naturally I will search the community forum, too. Just asking for keywords and maybe something ready-made you might have in one of your drawers :slight_smile:

It’s easier to just let them run constantly but move them on and off the viewable screen when you want them to show or be hidden.

Ah! Good thinking - thanks!

I use DWE to trigger something upon wake. You can delay the appearance by adding a few milliseconds to that.

And if you have more than one sequence, you can move them into position randomly using the
wakeRand() function.
