Smooth accelerometer operation

Hi guys, please help me how can I make the effect using the accelerometer run smoother? On the watch it’s so choppy, slow to react, simply unusable against WFS where it’s beautifully smooth and fluid. Is there any way to improve it or is it better to cancel this function and not deal with it?

Or any other better idea to make the artificial horizon simulate the movement of tilting sideways and up and down?

All it really needs is the rotation for a single image. You have split it, not sure about that…:

(accelerometerRawX()*accelerometerRawY())

However, sad to say that the accelerometer functions are broken since quite a while.
I tried recently again, still does not work.

It’s much much smoother on my Ultra than it is on my 5 Pro or my 6 Classic. I think it’s more of a graphics performance issue, than accelerometer issue.

Don’t forget that I don’t just have side tilt, but forward and backward tilt. I use both axes.

For ultras I would do it in WFS and it’s beautifully smooth and clean there, but after importing into facer it can’t be edited anymore and I won’t try it in the hours after facer converted it. I only have GW 5Pro

I tried it with one image and it’s even worse, I get the best result with two layers created as a shape.

Love this, not a comment about the accelerometer but about aesthetics, the numbers on the tape (minutes and seconds) should be sequential rather than the same to achieve the effect your looking for.

I made the artificial horizon fixed without the gyroscope effect. The numbers are just for testing how it would look, what size to use, or what font. The scrolling effect is taken into account. It is only for now Alpha version. :wink:I’ll do the same thing in WFS but more elaborately and with a horizon gyroscope, there it will need to be completely redesigned. Otherwise, thanks for the compliment.
