Some changes in Creator

I don’t know if it is Facer Changing or something on my Windows . Dropping an image into a layer has changed . May be it is just the beta version . I am on .
v7.31.0.216_beta.
.

I get the same dialogue now and I’m in ordinary facer

No, it was also on the no beta version. This means big trouble, surely for me.

80 % of my crafted images are no longer available for use in Facer Creator as it is, because of the new limitation on size, 5 MB, which is nothing for high quality images !!!

Facer makes is me now difficult to continue.

Oh I have not tested it yet . I have been making resources 720 x 720 because they can be posted here and preserve transparent areas . I have some Old Stuff at 2400x2400 . It is not that I just don’t care any more .
.
So no warning then . Just a Tiny bit of text in Grey . Oh Well Things like this Need HD Otherwise the look like shit . But don’t need any Transparency .
OK the Limit here is 4MB . Oh well . Is that something new ?

It was no problem before to use big files. Now it is. If I want to use my images, I have to do lots of reworks. I hate that. I know that there is a limitation on much MB a face have. I often encountered a message it could not save, without of course giving the cause why of course. But this one is new. Thank you very much.

I am very saddened by F approach, how they communicate about changes, show no interest at all in using their own platform to discuss changes before they happen, with its surely appreciated forum I assume. One adapts all the time, but there is a limit.

May be that will be the Job of the new Employee . I know when they advertised for a new Front End Man the quality of the updates went up . Initaly the Power consumption went down dramatically now it has gone back up a bit . There will naturally be a lot of changes to get Facer to be compatible with the Google Store .

I have always resized my images to 640 for backdrops or 320, 160 for sticker types as art package reductions are far better fidelity than in creator reductions.

SVG should be the way to go… but far less accessible for quick beginners.

I don’t see the point in this because you can drag and drop right on the page. This dialog just makes for more steps. Whis isn’t needed. IMO

I don’t know if this is the reason apart from introducing a 5mb limit if you use windows 11 on a PC you can now upload into Facer directly from an android phone. Sadly (or maybe luckily) i use windows 10 so I can’t check but would find it useful as I collect ideas on my phone mainly from Pinterest.

Note that storage cost money!

The money i save by staying here as a free face maker, allows me to pay I Cloud…

Strange, how nobody gets annoyed anymore by the lack of pre communication of changes. If i did that in my job before, they would have hanged me.

Really not sure what windows version has to do with it as the only correct creator is the web based one, or am I wrong 2 years on?

I have never looked again at the Downloadable Bloatware one . I looked at it 4 years ago . I am certain we would have heard if it had improved . Faces were still stored on the Cloud in Marvin’s Care so no advantage at all . May be we should persuade someone New to try it .
