Hi, @dazstacey. Just took me some time to stroll through your watch faces.
I think you have a lot of potential and doing a very good job already on your watch faces … but … there are always some things in them i don‘t like. So i would like to give you some advices which hopefully will help you.
Don‘t make the faces to „playful“. All this rainbow and gleaming light things are to much imho.
You should make better/clearer/darker/sharper shadows.
Try to get more contrast on the whole face. Silver elements on black or dark gray gradients work far better than on light gray backgrounds.
Take some clearer fonts with a good readability.
The user has to know what the displays are for. So give them a small text or an icon.
Have a closer look on the layer height arrangement before you publish. The hour and minute watch hands as well as the second watch hand should be always on top.
Please don‘t get me wrong, you‘re doing fine already but you could do much better.
Greetings, GAUSS.
I totally agree with Gauss on this matter , the ideas and animations are fantastic but the sharpness and crispness of the elements are always lacking …
i’m looking forward to see what you will come up with in the future …
all the best man !
