The band that the song came from is definitely not my style either. I really like this song, but not done by them. I’ve always thought that the lead singer sounded like a screech owl or a wounded animal the way he sings.
What got me hooked on the song was a group of American “hillbillies” dressed in Appalachian style clothes, playing guitars and banjos and banging on an anvil for the drum.
As for the way the face looks I wanted to use the lightning bolt (from the bands name) and try to do something along Gothic lines. I would never use this face personally.
