Sorry to mention, but again (third time discovered) the step count is zero. Previous 2 times Google Fit version and/or WearOS version were troublemakers. This time I checked all versions but are all up to date. Why again a zero step counter? Why it is troublesome that often?

Thanks for your report and sorry about that. We’re investigating the new reports of step counter issues, but it appears again to be a bug introduced in WearOS or Google Fit. We are in active discussion with Google about this and already shared a number of bug reports with them.
From our initial investigation however, it appears that the issue is related to the account management on Google Fit. Could you try signing out from your account in Google Fit, and signing back in?
