which version of PowerPoint are using and, if you know, if the tools used are available in older versions

I have to correct my self on this:

I am using v 2016. v 2010 (that I have on other PC) has most of the tools, but it lacks the shape merging for example (that was not needed in this case).

The v2010 and even v2007 supposedly has those merging tools too, just not in the ribbon on a place I found them on 2016. But they can be used in same way.

I would try to make short video, but my office tools are localized and it could confuse people.
