I have the possibility to test faces on a new Galaxy 8 watch classic with wear os 6 but I cannot send (or test) my unpublished watch faces to my watch. I tried on an iPad, iMac, and two PCs, but none of them were able to send the face to the watch when it’s not published (no error message either). I can only send published faces from my phone, which is not workable since you can’t test anything before publishing.
Another major issue is that the Facer app on the watch only allows me to store one watch face and to choose only from the top faces. I can’t even sync my own faces directly from the watch, only through the phone app, and as mentioned, not from the web creator (also not via beta).
Try uninstalling the facer app from your watch and then reinstalling it. Make sure the watch model you have selected in mobile app is correct. Also check Wear app is connected to watch (Enable wifi and bluetooth on watch)
For WearOS 6, the Facer app is really nothing more than a mechanism to get the watch face on your watch. Every time you sync a WFF watch face, it sits in the same place as any face you download from the Google Play Store. There are no favorites, or whatever they’re called. The Facer app doesn’t really have any functionality other than getting the APK file to the watch.
Yes did that, But I can only sync from my phone. When I use another device it is not working. I think you have a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic also, and you can sync from your pc?
Just throwing this into the discussion: I tried all afternoon to get a WFF design draft to sync for testing on Watch 8. No joy until hours later when Samsung pushed an update. After the update the watch face was there. Coincidence or not?
Thanks for testing! Then it is something in my environment/router, still no luck for me, I have 2 more watches on the Samsung app, maybe that is the problem.
