Hey guys,
Do you got very slow syncing now a days compare to last 10 days. I feel that syncing became drastically slow. Do you feel the same? or is it only me.
I’ve definitely felt that syncing has slowed down considerably.
It has been OK to yawn central for me since the beginning. It varies over time it seems.
It does depend a lot on how many elements are in the face but like for like the timing seems to wax and wane over time. Possibly dependant on how many people are using the facer servers at the time.
yes , i too have seen it slow down and start to cause problems to some of my faces not syncing properly with ones that have complicated layers and are bigger in size
1am to 5am UTC/GMT seems a bad time for doing anything on the facer servers. It’s possibly their backup time or something else caning performance. Certainly the creator becomes completely unreliable during that time and a reminder to me that sleep is needed now and then.
Yes, here in the midwest USA it has almost doubled in time. Sometimes it stalls and I have to hit the sync button again to make it start. I wonder if @Facer_Official would know what is happening?
Sorry guys, maybe i am unable to make it clear. To make it more clear, please read as below.
i have created many watch faces since last one month. Before 10 days those watch faces uses by many users and they sync to their watch. Per watch i have found 50-60 sync daily. But now a days after SWAMP or repeated notification error happens. Last few days maybe user or follower not sync my watch like before. Only 2-3 user per watch syncing. I am confused, does my watch properly notified to my follower or is there any new logic behind slow syncing. Hope i made it clear now.
OK, you are talking about the sync count on watch faces. Facer only tells you the first sync for each account. If I sync your face today, then someone else’s face, then resync your face, the count will not change for my second sync. The total new syncs on any watch face will ebb and flow with its visibility. If you post on a daily basis or at least often during the week, your older faces will get the visibility from the newly published face. Right now, I have a few watch faces that are over 2 years old and still have not received their first sync.
It definitely comes and goes in waves. I wouldn’t get too caught up in that. There was a huge surge when the GW4 came out that sustained all the way through the holidays. I observed a similar pattern last year when Feb really slowed down.
I find the worst time to, try sync a complex face is when the Americans have finished their days work . The morning in the UK is a Good time for Multiple Syncs . I don’t know about accumulating a Large number of Syncs from Followers . I think that is down to how MARVIN is Feeling .
