The end of Android Wear?

Just came across and article that suggested Google may be giving up on Android Wear as a platform. Curious what everyone else’s interpretation was.

I guess the telling point will be if any new android wear watches are launched over the next few months…

I think it’s correct, that Google will leave the Watch market, and only deliver Software (for a while). It’s Business, and they have realized, that they don’t earn enough on that kind of hardware. The history with Google and Hardware, have shown, they just drop it, if it’s not profitable in a larger scale!
