Now all of a sudden, the heart rate isn’t working. And yes permissions are set and both the watch (Galaxy watch 5 pro, and my phone, Galaxy S23U have been rebooted multiple times.

Very strange. Is it just the Facer face or is it failing when you measure with the health app.
If only the face, do you have a sample.
I have noticed that, on rare occasions Facer does seem to freeze up until there is button interaction, even to current time but these are rare and only once in 3 months have I needed to swap face to force a reload due to constant performance lag.
HR works fin for me on this:

It measures just fine with the app on the watch. I installed a face from the galaxy store and that was displaying the heart rate, no problem.

Driving me crazy, I was just sitting here showing my wife that the HR clearly works on the watch and switch it to the face from the galaxy store and it showed the HR, switched back to the Facer and now all of a sudden out of the blue it shows the HR. WOW, I don’t get it.

That can sometimes be the way to Wake up the Connection and Permissions . Swap to a Native Face and Back .

It does seem like there might be something that happens in the faces that had been carrying over and causing a runnaway memory leak until facer is reloaded. Especially comments on rebuilding the one with the hand issue.
Haven’t a scooby what might be causing it. As said before, I have had issues where facer goes sluggish for a while but usually sorts itself out without a reset. Possibly the extra .5GB ram on the GW6 but who knows.
