Thoughts on an LCD with compass semi bezel

So as not to pollute the compass design showcase I thought I’d move things out for feedback.
I’m still a bit all over the place so not ready to share the whole thing yest as versions are likely to vanish but I first posted the progress to show the marvelous bevel from @tom.vannes in use.

There was a suggestion:

Somehow I think there is too much LCD shown - perhaps the mph and sunrise/sunset quadrants could be white text on black to balance the watch and phone battery quadrants. I also like the compass bezel. Altogether a nice watch

I thought that might work if I inverted the bezel colours but it looked hideous.

So, much fiddling about, and even more moving stuff up and down to prevent overlaps that caused other overlaps that meant I had to split some masks down to smaller ones so they could move up but not get in the way… You all know how it is.
I think I am getting there.

I’ve also seen the ruminations on #DWE# so thought I’d add a little compass flourish on activate.
