Does anyone know which timezones #Dz# includes? Is it possible to put the tag on the time slider to check - if so how do i do it?
I don’t know this for sure but I will take a solid punt that it is based on the timezone library used by their coding language, which will be updated regularly from the TZ Database: List of tz database time zones - Wikipedia
For me here in Indiana USA it will show EST or EDT for Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Daylight Time. I can only assume it will show the correct time zones wherever the watchface is being used.
Aye, as long as GPS is working, and auto switch DST based on current UTC date/time.
To test different timezones you can set your pc or tablet date and time to any timezone you want by disabling automatic and then refresh facer creator page.
I did think it was defaulted to LA in the creator but maybe that’s just the weather location.
Also, it can depend. Some browser functionality respects user timezone but some parts cling to the OS installation timezone.
Learned that the hard way testing internationalisation of a web based product. We had to spin up VMs for some specific client testing.
Yeah . Anything weather related in Creator is L.A. Local . Time is From the Laptop Local .
Thanks for that - I can certainly use this for testing purposes .What i am looking for however is a list of timezones that the tag #Dz# is populated with. Any suggestions anybody?
It should be all of them from the above timezone list. It’s a standard list for all coding languages as far as I am aware.
I would have thought it would take more effort to limit the list than leave it as is.
@Facer_Official should be able to confirm this though.
