To animate, or not to animate

Ok, so I’ve been thinking about this particular style for some time now and when it came to the crunch, I was deciding whether to animate the cogs and wheels inside. I wasn’t sure it was worth the effort and went with a rotating cover instead… What do you think? Is it worth the effort of animating the guts?

…I do like this one as it is… I do have a good feeling looking at this watch face :wink:

Thanks! I usually like to try for realistic, but decided that it might be nice to go a little bit abstract
