For personal use I would not bother much, but in general I think it could use some bolder shading for the ticks and hands etc

I lost whatever texture there is in the face removing the hands.
Looks like you found a way or have access to something that makes the face color less flat. Those radial black “lines”.
How did you get those?

I experimented with the sunburst effect some long time ago and created me semitransparent streaks overlay based on this tutorial. It is for gimp, but I guess it can be made similar way in any other serious image editor:

I’ve used GIMP. Even watched the many of the instruction videos. Last time I just wanted a straight line with an arrow head on it for a pointer. The other two basic programs on this machine don’t appear to have that.
Had to find and install a plug-in but it worked fine.
I’ll see if I can find a sunburst texture file. Apparently people mean different things by “texture”. For some it seems to be just images while others are things like that with patterned transparencies. Sunburst is the keyword I ought to add.
