Using AI images as backgrounds

Here is my latest watchface I tried a few things in order to learn something new. I fell into a trap, a logical trap but still the same a trap. No matter what i tried I couldn’t get the background image to show on my watch, it was ok in Creator and I spent about am hour trying to figure it out - I figured it out eventually it was the size of the image I used. The image was AI generated and it’s file size was 2,7Mb and I had simply imported it in and that was that. I clipped out what I actually needed, saved and re-imported the new image which was 600k and that solved my problem. The moral here is be aware of the size of imported images, particularly AI generated ones. I actually fell into a few more traps - design ones this time. the main focus of the watch was the Newton’s cradle - it looked great in Creator but was really too small on the watch. I also ended up using a sequence for the pendulum effect as I couldn’t figure out the maths to make it work. Oh well it was a learning watch and won’t be published - but it was a bit of fun making it and I did learn a few things so I’m happy.
