I loaded a couple watch faces that display French Revolution time using UTC. The hands don’t move in any of them. In this example, I have one hand to display the time in a 10 hour day using UTC as a meridian. The expression is:
Know what you mean looking at it. I made the original in Watch Face Studio where all I needed to do was say “Turn once every 24 hours and use a time zone with GMT+0 that doesn’t change for DST or such things ( Dakar is one )”
I’m taking hours minutes and seconds and converting them to angles of rotation, but I’d have to think long and hard to remember what the floor business is about.
Given that mess the #DNOW# expression is pretty clean. I’ll see if that doesn’t take care of things tomorrow sometime.
I should have mentioned I’m trying out things on my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
Decided to start small and see what #DNOW# does on a sub-dial for 24 hour UTC. Replaced (#DUH#15) with (#DNOW#/1000/60/60360/24). That shows correctly in Creator, but loaded on my watch it doesn’t do anything.
Well, some good news. Before I got this watch I took a .aab file from Watch Face Studio and did an import on Facer. That loads right on and runs as it should. Looks weird, but it’s basically a circle with a dot on it for a second hand so simple enough tag/expression wise.
