Here is a freebie published yesterday. It’s quite similar layout-wise to an earlier design I published called Escape. I don’t consider this an update to that face, but rather a 2nd riff on the same basic idea so it’s called (for now) Escape v2.
I am a fan of tourbillons (obviously) but I also like watches that simply have the escapement on display. It’s a cleaner look (for lack of a better description) than a tourbillon, but it’s still got that visual interest and hints at the hidden mechanics. It’s also just a lot of fun for me to make the graphics for these kinds of designs so I always come back to open-works of some kind.
As always, my priority is to get the date and battery indicator in there if at all possible.
Probably this will get developed into a Premium face later with multiple design/color themes and added Hybrid Mode.
