Very good interview. My reasons for facing are nearly the same. At first, i am designing what i like to have on my own watch. If others like my work as well, it is a nice bonus - but not necessary.
But in my methods, i am different. I love to play with the abilities of my mind and the possibilities programs like CAD and/or Photoshop offer to fullfill my dreams.
In my little virtual world everything is possible, only the restriction of the used programs and my skills working with them are some sort of handicaps.
