So I’m interested in this face, but my brand new Google Pixel Watch 2 is incompatible even though it is on the compatibility list.

Do you have Premium membership? It’s a premium watchface.
Does any Facer’s watchface work on your watch?

@BillieJackFu . You should be able to purchase that one without premium . However I am not sure that the Maker is a Partner yet . It should say in the Profile . If you have purchased the watch it will say OWNED on the Sync Tab . Just click that again and Pop it will be on your Watch . I usualy get an Email receipt from Google Post Haste .
Sadly if you have no luck Please contact the Maker in the comments on the Preview . Makers Need to know these things are not working .

Looks like it may be a shader used in a background. And while yes the Pixel 2 should be compatible, there still seems to be a random bug where a shader faces shows as “not available” for your watch. But often simply closing the app and reopening will fix that. Do make sure you have the Pixel 2 selected as your watch in the settings though. If you have an older watch selected that app won’t know you’ve got a shader compatible watch.

I see the Face does not have a price on it now . I should have taken a Screen shot . So @kvansant is a Shader a Real Time 3D Animation by another Name .

Russel, yes that’s the Real time 3D. And yes SI has been a partner for a while now.

I wonder how the decision is made to sell your face to us Non Subscribers or send them out Premium only . Is that out of your hands as it were .
I have been a premium member for a couple years now (or longer), I came from a Galaxy Watch 3 to now the Pixel Watch 2.
I can’t find a setting to change the watch.

Also I usually browse from the web, but I tried to get the face directly from the app on my phone and it is greyed out and says not compatible. Don’t see anywhere to purchase the face either.

i don’t think there is any decision made. I believe all premium faces are for sale no? Or is it only Partner made faces that can be bought individually? I don’t actually know. Only thing I do know is if there is any interaction bult into a face it’s automatically premium.

I just find it difficult to separate them out . The Preview Profiles do not mention if the Maker is a Partner or not . I always thought everything went out premium unless Partners kindly elected to let us Buy them as Non Subscribers . So you are saying that if it has a Price it is a Partners face . In the case above it has gone out as Premium only Now .
@BillieJackFu . When I looked foe the face earlier to post the link it was flagged up with a price . Now it is Premium only . So It will be very interesting to all of us if you will Kindly Contact the Maker in the Comments on the Preview and let us know . It may even be that @kvansant will do that for us .
I did put a comment in for the maker, looks like I’m not the only PW2 user who can’t use it. I did troubleshoot and many of the SI faces are not available for the PW2; might be an issue on the creator’s end.

Seems none of the 3D faces are compatible with the Pixel Watch 2 from any designer.

I hope I have not Jumped over your edits. That is a nice Idea . You have hit the nail on the head . Sadly that effect under the hex grid could be easily achieved by a free maker without the SHADER / Real Time 3D Animation .
That SHADER effect is for WOS4 updated watches only . So here we go . GW4 watches went out with WOS4 Installed so those Faces were the Flagships for GW6 . I installed a couple after my OneUI5 / WOS4 update and it was only Possible over WiFi . They did not like Bluetooth ( Who Does ) . So that is one thing . The other is you are due for an Update to WOS4 on PX2 unless it was Pre installed which I Doubt . Cart Horse Thing .
Pleas stay with this . It will be sorted soon and it is not Entirely the fault of Facer Alone . There is plenty of Moaning on the WFS Forum about PX2 shortcomings . Mostly about Step count .

Ok I see you have the latest WOS . Have you had a long enough walk to see if the steps go over 999 .
I am certain that Facer will appreciate you getting in touch and staying with this one . Over the last three years I have seen a lot of changes with things getting Fixed . There are some that say Other Platforms do not have problems . Ha Ha . Here in the real world things are different .
Steps, I haven’t paid that much attention to, I check my steps in the fitbit app on my Pixel 8 Pro.

Yes. Many Have couple of smart watches now . Use what the do Best . So the PX2 is sending steps to The phone right or ar you wearing a FitBit as well .

I just checked the fitbit app and it is only collecting data from the watch.
There are quirky things with Launch products, like my Pixel 8 Pro just randomly restarted last night, but others have had constant rebooting.
Google might have rushed the device (again).

Have they put Flexible covers on there Phones with something touching the On button . My wife’s watch was on a Reeboot cycle because she put the cover on holding down the home button .
I put a Spigen case on my, but it is pretty rigid and you have press the power button pretty firmly for 3 seconds to have the power menu display. I think the new chip might be overheating.
