Another popular design…
For this one, I experimented with making things using the existing materials in new ways. I duplicated a bunch of watch tick marks, changing the color, rotation, etc. Same thing with the duplicated tick marks for 5 minute increments. Added a ring, etc.
Basically, experimenting to see if I could add detail, And truth be told, the watchface began as an experiment with rotating arms for the hour/minute which was a total failure 
I’ve got a original design I’m working on using what I’ve learned from this to do some optical illusion type stuff.
