Hi. I searched for a thread on this feature, but cannot find any information on it at all. I want to build a face that is essentially two or more faces. I am assuming, at this point, that the Watchface link feature will allow me to do this. However, all links I test in that feature go to a 404 page. What gives?
I don’t have any experience with this feature but two things I’m wondering is what you put in for the link and also if maybe the faces need to be published to be viewable. I wouldn’t suspect that to be the case but maybe.
Not 100% sure what you are trying to do but if you want to switch from one face to another you can build them all together and switch their location using the VAR controls thus having more faces just put the ones with their components out of sight till you need them displayed normally i use Y address -999 That is well away from the display

It seems odd to me that Facer put the Watchface link function into the Creator but provided no guidance or documentation on it. I want to know what it does and how it can be used.
@Orakix, I tried putting links and my to one of my published faces and still got the 404 page. I even tried the Facer homepage and my profile page, but no go.
@dazstacey, that is a great idea. I had not thought of doing that before.
Just had a play with the button it can link to a live face just by using the id code that the face has the one you get if you try sharing e.g Facer - Thousands of FREE watch faces for Apple Watch, Samsung Gear S3, Huawei Watch, and more Just the DC0megFW3c Part is all you need ok but it only open up that face on the persons phone for them to view so its a bit useless really ok.

Yeah I haven’t found much use for it and I don’t think others have either. I think it was a feature that was just kinda put on the back burner because nobody cares about it.
Here’s an example of what @dazstacey was referring to with the VAR tags. Tap the center to open the menu to switch between the different watch versions.
Let us know if you have any questions on how to make it work.
edit hmmm… why is the face preview not loading… that’s weird.
