Weather and phone battery complications OneUI 8

So I updated my Watch 6 Classic to the OneUI 8 beta and my WFF watch faces cannot see the weather or the phone battery. The watch itself can by going to the complication on my phone, and my watch can also see the weather. But the facer watch faces aren’t reading either of them. Has anyone gotten their faces to work completely with the complications and the weather yet?

Hi. I didn’t know this was happening on several devices, I thought there was something wrong with mine, but besides that, I still can’t put the “0” before the time and date!

Have a read of the many topics here which explain the problems - but to cut things short ’ Facer is working on it. Having said that im happy that you are interested enough to ask and im sure that you will find that creating watchfaces is a great and rewarding pastime z- you’ll find plenty of help here.

A lot of the weather is not available on WFF. The Watch Face Format doesn’t support Facer’s wind tags, humidity tags, sunrise, sunset and I don’t think barometric pressure either. You can see what WFF with Facer supports here: Facer Creator Reference

Yeah. I am not happy with Alphabet at all just now.
Ignoring the looming developer restrictions on apps looming…

You must use this WFF that has half the functionality you are used to.

We will force Gemini down your throat despite the fact it is barely beta ready and you already got it to admit it does not come close to conforming to EU accessibility regulations for technology and removes a lot of the functionality that the previous, mostly stable Google Assistant had.

I use my assistant on my watch for one thing. Setting timers. Google assistant didn’t work on WearOS 5 for a long while so I used Alexa. Then it did and they killed Alexa completely on watches (or Amazon left, didn’t research it, it worked).

Now they have force replaced Assistant with Gemini and when you set a timer it does not set the watch timer it sets a Gemini timer which is cancelled when you go back to the watch.
So… For the first time since it was introduced. I am using Bixby. It might take 3-6 attempts for it to accept voice input without dropping out but I can actually set a watch timer. Hey, flaky as hell beats completely non functional any day.

Sorry </rant>

One thing I have noticed. Forever, cancelling a timer with X at end has always cause the Facer face to pause for 1-3 minutes but since the latest watch update it is frozen until crash and restart. Might start a thread on that to get wider testing.
