What is going on with the forum?

Hi all. I keep having to log back in with each visit today and cannot post from my phone at this time. Keep getting a 403 forbidden error when posting from my iPhone. Is this happening to anyone else?

Edit:/ I can post from my phone as long as I am logged in on my computer as well. Why is that?

I don’t use my phone - it is ok from my IPAD.

Have you checked that the address starts with https and not http?

Checked both my PC and phone; both are https. This only started today and seems to affect both my PC and phone on wi-fi and LTE. Weird.

I was having issues with clicking buttons like the “Dismiss New” button and it acting like I hadn’t clicked it. I used your “https” suggestion and everything works like it used to. Good Call! :+1:

Glad it helped, although I can not claim credit - I was having problems and that was what I was told to fix it. :slight_smile:

I still have to log back in on my phone every time I visit the forums. This is day three of these shenanigans.

I had the same problems, but it seems to have been solved, at least now I can write on Facer.

Facer just updated their software for the forum so now it’s supposed to be run on https and now it’s buggy without the s. I don’t know the technical details but that’s why it’s happened all of a sudden.

I figured it was an update that requires the secure link now. Was kinda weird as it came out of nowhere, but it makes sense to cut off unsecured re-directs.
