When does Facer actually utilize the Internet of a user? Burning through my data plan

I am a newbie, been premium member for over a week… but I am having "unusual increased activity messages coming from my smartphone provider. And it seems to point to Facer usage.

I’m wondering when is Facer actually utilizing the internet to change watch faces already stored in your favorites section of Facer?

I am usually on my Wi-Fi at home got. But sometimes I change watch faces when I’m out. I haven’t been able to figure out the best way to be efficient and operate watch face changes? Apparently I have burned though half of my data plan for the month…

Hmm, maybe you can set your watch to use wifi only?
