I like that. The scrolling text hits the rail of the fence, however. Can you move it down a bit?
Lovely! But @Linlay is right. The red scrolling text needs some extra placement in y-direction, just a few points.

Do you think the time color would coordinate better if it were white, red, or green? Maybe it’s my monitor, or just me, but the blue that you have doesn’t seem to go with anything else in the picture.

I really like the theme. That said, the stark jump between active and dim mode feels disconnected. My lowly opinion is that the dim mode should reflect a similar theme or at least be better connected to that theme.

@ircrotale I didn’t check dim when I first looked. Yes, you are right. More continuity in theme or colors would be more pleasing to the eye.
