I’m celebrating this archaic rite every year Eating good stuff (Torta Pasqualina, lots of different salads, and tons of chocolate), relaxing (Crémant!!) instead of working, friendly phone conversations with my old relatives - loving it. One of the very few moments I miss my childhood - searching for “easter baskets” in my parents’ garden - and one of the moments I almost regret going pescetarian, because I vividly remember Easter Ham with English Mustard and tons of horseradish

Whew. Torta Pasqualina is finished. I may have taken on 3 or 4 kilograms and killed my BMI. And, of course, I worked through the whole Easter holydays. Being self-employed has many downsides. Only upside is I can sit in my boxers surrounded by sleepy cats, listen to Helmet (or Yellowjackets), smoke like a log and do NOT have to meet the buggers I work for in person
