Haha I don’t know. Just seems a bit of a random sneaky nude pic. Maybe made it for his missus… :woman_shrugging:t2:

Intrestingly it must be some sort of Club. Two of the Followers I have Unfollowed because of the Swampy Publications.

So, I have released 2 free watches of same watch face but they are in different colour.
The watch faces are:

The first link was published first 2 days ago, and this is currently around number 86 in the Free Top 100 chart. It currently has 84 syncs.
The second link was published 14 hours ago. It was a duplicate of first watch, but in a different colour and has already had more syncs but is nowhere to be seen in the Top 100 chart.
This obviously does not seem correct. I’ve logged a support ticket to see if Facer can explain this.

Just wondering what the conditions are for a watch face to be charted?

In my opinion it’s pure luck.

I think 100+ syncs in the first 24 hours will give you a chance.
Some of my watchfaces got in Top 100 after a week after publishing them, so there is no fixed rule.

Some great watchfaces never get to be listed in Top 100 and some really lame ones, made in 5 minutes or less, do get listed.
It’s a game of chance.

Hopefully Facer can spill the beans on their top 100 criteria.

I have never made it into the WearOS-charts till now. I thought I was on a black list, since Marvin had taken down a watch face unrightfully so (was recovered by Facer…). But, some algorithm may have changed.

This one is at 41 currently, +200 syncs in 21h
But I guess it does have to have a number of syncs in a short period of time.

I believe it’s the top 100 not the top 1000 and even if there’s some criteria that is applied, there are many watchfaces that meet them. Outside of the, let’s say top 20, it’s probably random choice as to which gets on the list.

Facer Top 100 Free Charts are one of life’s Big mysteries . I think the Selection is Basically made by a BOT ( Marvin ) but there but his work is checked buy a Human . I sometimes feel a tiny bit of Favouritism slips in .

russellcresser I agree with you 100%.
It’s some kind of human-bot combination.

I don’t think you were blacklisted for that, we all felt The Hand of Marvin at some point.

Ha Ha . Dead Drudge . Popular and Perfect are Different things . My reward in this whole thing is to get Comments on a Published Face from the Makers I Admire .

It doesn’t matter anyway. Just ask the usual suspects on the top 100 time and time again if they are Creator Partners yet…

It’s really now down to a form of affirmation for your work, nothing else.

Well, if you want to get featured by Facer, then it does have an impact. I quote from the help page:

*Users who have received repeated copyright/infringement complaints are automatically excluded from feature consideration.

So, I recommend to open a case with Facer, if you do not really know why Marvin has taken down your watch face.

They’re dabbling with the criteria at the moment. I think it’s actually syncs per 24 or 48 hours (when it used to be per week). Faces seem to hit the chart more readily (which is great) but fall off quicker now. I’m sure they’ll get the balance right as they keep tweaking if
