This is probably an old topic but like it or not I’m raising it again.
I’ve been making watchfaces on and off for a few months now and suddenly decided to publish a few and it’s, i must admit, nice to see that others ‘like’ my work. It should be noted that I have a massive 3 synch’s on one of them and I am very happy. You see it’s all relative- i don’t need 3000 in a month (or whatever) to be happy.
Anyway that’s enough waffle- my question is- how is it possible for someone to give me a like on one of my private DRAFT faces? That leads me to two other questions - first, does facer check users are legitimate and not trolls when giving notifications? Secondly are notifications links? I have some that are suspicious to me that i don’t want to click even by accident!
I can not tell you how delighted I was when I got my first sync. It was picture with some hands on it. 3 Syncs with a Low Follower Count is Good Going. You may find you have a new one now.
You can check the Profile of a Like you get but not a Sync. There are some Trolls about. There are a few Porn things that pop up. If you see that report it then block it. Please don’t follow them. They get to see your Follow list then and everyone gets a bit.
I am not a Sync Hunter so I am with you.
If you click on the Avatar/Logo of the Like Notification you will go to thier profile. Then you can see who they follow. If they have 3 Favourites and loads of followers something is up. I am not an IT expert but sometines Dead Fish smells like Dead Fish.
i have also had a problem with drafts, I have had them synced by several people, I dont know how that is even possible.
The notifications are list of pairs of links. You can either click the link to the persons profile or to the related face.
And about downloads, do not worry. I made an informative face for apple watches. It got about 10 syncs in the first months, but later during the whole year it quietly collected 1.1k syncs so far, without being in charts or so.
If you share the URL link to any unpublished watchface, anyone can go and look at it and like it.
I dont worry about synch’s - not at all 
but how did the user manage to like a draft of mine? If this is possible then there is no sense in private watchfaces. The watchface in my case was an accurate copy of somebody else’s paid face that i used to learn with. I think that it is unfair.

!!! If someone has Synced a Face you have not shared the Link for I would Change your Password Immediately !!!
It could be something you have shared on FB or any where else .
no, i dont use facebook or any social media, my password is changed frequently but on 3 or 4 seperate days , there were notifications that 2 ROlex faces that i made for myself and did not publish got “liked” and “synced” by 2 different people
Did you remake those Special Faces from Scratch. Or did you use A previously published Face as a Template. Unfortunatly if you do that it is not Unique .
You must understand that there a lot out there think that Jiggery Pookery is Fun .
Thanks for reminding me change my Password more often despite the Difficulty.
No social media for me either, just a like linking to one of my draft faces which was made from scratch. Two things which comes to mind - the face concerned was in my favourites and if i check my profile it shows the current watch face I’m wearing - which in this case is also a WIP draft face. This in my mind means that there is a link to draft faces being used by facer and if its out there somewhere then some troll or other can have found it too.
Now where did i put my password? Time to change!
I just went to your Facer profile page, and it doesn’t show you wearing any Facer watchfaces at this time. So, I went to my private unlisted profile page and checked on my MAG profile where I liked and synced one of my unpublished watchfaces. It shows that I am not wearing any Facer watchfaces even the one I have on signed in as MAG. I also liked that same watchface. It shows that I have one in my favorites, but when I try to look and see what it is, the Facer webpage doesn’t show any even though it says I have one liked. This issue has just turned into the Twilight Zone!
Ha . That is interesting I have never made a Favourite of a WIP . I will, conduct a Test . I have a WIP Called WHIP . Watch this Space .

Okay…maybe a wrong choice of words. WIP (Work in Progress) for me means draft.
When I try on your profile it doesn’t show.
I tried Mike O Day’s profile and I can see not only the watchface he is currently wearing, the watch he is wearing and a representation of the face!
If i could figure how to paste a profile in this topic i would show you what i mean.
Hopefully this will show what i mean.
